What is onboarding and offboarding?

Onboarding is the process of adding new employees to an organization's identity and access management system. The employee has to be given access rights to  applications based on the his/her job or role and business requirements.

On the other hand, offboarding is the processes of the removing access rights to applications, when an employee leave the organization.

Proper onboarding and offboarding is necessary for organizations to be compliant with government regulatory requirements.
